Pfizer, the makers of Viagra, have long warned of the dangers of taking the drug to treat erectile dysfunction. This is a problem for women, too — and men too — who take Viagra.
Viagra has been shown to help men with low blood pressure by boosting blood flow to the penis and helping them get and keep an erection.
The drug was initially prescribed to women to treat high blood pressure and to treat problems with the arteries in the penis.
However, Pfizer is now worried about the safety of the drug. “We have to weigh the risks of taking Viagra on a regular basis against the potential benefit of treatment,” said Dr. Ian Thompson, Pfizer’s chief medical officer.
The Viagra drug was originally developed to treat erectile dysfunction in men, but scientists were also studying its effectiveness in women, he said.
The company also is now worried about the possible negative impact on women who use Viagra.
Viagra is the brand name of the drug that is sold in the United States by Pfizer. Viagra works by relaxing the blood vessels in the penis and allows for increased blood flow into the penis when aroused.
Women also take Viagra, so they do not have to worry about sexual side effects.
Patients taking Viagra are not advised to drink alcohol or take medicines that affect blood pressure.
The drug is also available as an oral tablet. In the US, it is called Viagra (sildenafil) and is used to treat erectile dysfunction. Viagra is not for women, however.
Men are prescribed to take Viagra for the treatment of erectile dysfunction, but women are advised not to use it and must take their doctor’s advice.
Dr. Tarek Singh, a consultant urologist, said: “We have been told by doctors that women are often given Viagra as an option to treat their problem, so it would be a huge mistake to take it on a regular basis.
“Viagra has been shown to be safe and effective in men with normal levels of blood pressure.
“But we believe that Viagra is the right medication for most people.”
In the UK, the NHS has issued a warning about Viagra as a treatment for erectile dysfunction. The warnings were issued by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency in March 2012. The warnings are for the treatment of erectile dysfunction.
Puneet yet has been advised to use Viagra if she is not sure. “I am not sure that Viagra is safe,” she said.
Viagra, which contains sildenafil citrate, is a blue pill that is the brand name of the drug Viagra. The drug is approved for women only.
The warning was published in the British Medical Journal in June 2013.
A warning to the public was also issued to women and children using the drug for the treatment of male sexual problems.
In 2014, the warning was added to the medical guidelines for women and children in the UK.
Men who take Viagra are advised to stop taking the drug, and to consult their doctor to get further advice.
“We have found that taking the drug is not a good idea,” said Dr. Tarek Singh. “If you want to take Viagra, it is not a good idea to take it on a regular basis. If you want to take Viagra and have sex for the treatment of erectile dysfunction, you will need to be on a regular basis. If you don’t want to take it, you are still going to need to take it.”
Viagra was first introduced to the UK in 1998. In 1998, the drug was approved for treating erectile dysfunction. Viagra is sold in the UK as Pfizer’s erectile dysfunction medicine.
It is not for women, however.
